The Legacy of a Sanctuary: The Beloved Dr. Arnella E. Lewis

The late, beloved Dr. Arnella E. Lewis was the "safe haven" who changed the course of a life. As a spiritual mother to our Founder, Lakeisha Walker, Dr. Lewis provided a nonjudgmental sanctuary during Lakeisha’s darkest years enduring human trafficking.

By guiding Lakeisha through the "renewing of her mind," Dr. Lewis transformed trauma into a foundation of healing. Her profound spiritual insight and unconditional love became the DNA of Honorable Women Inc. (est. 2020). Although she has passed, her love, strength, and tenacity lives on through our mission.

Honorable Women Inc is a Team of women from all walks of life. We seek to bring victims hope and healing through our gift of hospitality. Fighting for the rights of human sex trafficking victims is our purpose. We are passionate about providing care, selfless compassion, and a action driven form of love. Our motto is “Love is Action” a quote adopted from Dr. Arnella E. Lewis; it truly is an action word. Honorable Women Inc. has been traveling throughout this city giving to hurting communities in need.
